I am a Ph.D candidate at Florida State University in Political Science with a concentration in data methods (Expected 2016), and received extensive training in numerous statistical methods and data project design. I received a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Florida State University in 2013, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University in 2009.
As a PhD student and graduate assistant over the past four years, I have planned, gathered, processed, and analyzed various data projects as a research assistant and for my own data research projects. I consider myself a proficient programmer in R, and am well-versed in Excel, Stata, ArcGIS and UCINET, and familiar with SPSS and some SQL-based database languages.
I am fluent in Spanish.
